On the 12th of December 2015 Ed Sheeran announced on social media that he would be taking a break out of the public eye to travel the world. Exactly one year later, Ed Sheeran was back.
Every music fan had long awaited his return and couldn't wait to hear Ed's new music that he had been teasing fans with on Twitter. Ed released divided images of his upcoming 3rd studio album, Divide as well as lyrics from songs he was yet to release. On the 5th of January Ed Sheeran released two new songs called 'Shape of You' and 'Castle on the Hill' which are both currently at the top of the Official UK Top 40 Singles Chart.
The songs received many positive reviews across Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and from listeners of The Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Nick Grimshaw where Ed first released his latest singles.
Following the release of his two new singles, Sheeran released the track list for his upcoming album and the album artwork.

The track list includes songs called Eraser, Dive, Perfect, Galway Girl, Happier, Hearts Don't Break Around Here, New Man, What Do I know, How Would You Feel and Supermarket Flowers as well as his two recent singles Shape of You and Castle on the Hill.
Ed's debut album, Plus was released on the 9th of September in 2011 and peaked at number 5 in the UK and in the U.S. and his second studio album, Multiply was released on the 20th of June in 2014 and peaked at no.1 in fifteen different countries making it an international success.
Let's just hope his album, Divide which is due to release on the 3rd of March this year has just as much success as his previous albums though from what we've seen of his latest releases I'm sure it will do very well.
